Champagne Breakfasts
In our opinion, the only way to truly start the day is with champagne. The perfect way to mark a special occasion, our Champagne Breakfasts are as luxurious as they sound! Served Monday to Saturday between 8:30am and 11am at our hotels in Derbyshire, you can enjoy a selection of continental and traditional breakfast treats all complemented with a glass of champagne and your choice of juices, infusion teas or coffee.

Afternoon Tea
Who doesn’t love afternoon tea? Indulgent and luxurious, there’s nothing quite like getting stuck into a platter of sandwiches and homemade cakes while having a good chat. At The Lion Hotel, our afternoon teas are available Monday to Sunday (12pm-4pm) and include a delectable selection of finger sandwiches, homemade cakes, fresh scones (with jam & cream, of course) and homemade cookies.
Dinner Parties
Dinner parties are a fantastic way to get together with friends and family to mark an occasion or just catch up. That’s why we offer 3 comprehensive dinner party menus to help you save on cooking and washing up. Instead, you can relax in welcoming, comfortable surroundings and concentrate on having a good time in good company. Parties
We love to party. Which is why we have three dedicated function rooms available for hire so you can celebrate in styles – Vaults, Strutt and Arkwright. Use of our function rooms is available Monday – Sunday every week, and includes the use of tables, chairs, linen, dancefloor (Arkwright only), private bar (Arkwright only) and staffing costs.
Alongside our function rooms, we can also lay on a buffet or your guests. We have an extensive buffet package available to choose from with prices starting at just £9.50 per person. Furthermore, we’re more than happy to cater for special requirements if necessary, with gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options available.
