Here at The Lion Hotel in Derbyshire, we can cater for a wide range of events including conferences and business meetings. We have three conference rooms, along with a patio and garden area, which provide plenty of scope for group or breakout activities.

Full WiFi access and function room facilities are also available in flexible formats to cater to your specific needs. We also offer on-site car parking as well as being closely located to another large public car park.

Buffet Packages

Our buffet packages are available for parties of 30 people and above and are available from Monday – Sunday, 12-6:30pm.

Buffet packages start from just £14 per person with a choice of cobs, sandwiches, and finger foods to choose from depending on your choice.

3 Course Meal Options

Alongside our buffet options, we also offer three menus for parties of 16 people and above. Each high-quality menu has been carefully curated by our head chef and features 3 courses.

At The Lion Hotel, our chefs use only the freshest ingredients and we always try to source products locally where possible.

If you plan on running your conference, meeting or event over a couple of days, we have 22 tastefully decorated, welcoming and comfortable rooms at your disposal.

Each is equipped with modern amenities including an en suite bathroom, TV, tea & coffee making facilities, hairdryer, trouser press, ironing board and complimentary toiletries.

During their stay, your delegates are also free to dine at our on-site restaurant and enjoy our relaxing bar area.
