We are back in business. And it feels so good to once again be welcoming guests back into the Lion Hotel & Restaurant. Our team is so excited to welcome visitors as the summer progresses and beyond!
In anticipation of our grand reopening, our menus underwent somewhat of an overhaul. While our kitchen was busy serving up our iconic home cooked fare to be enjoyed as part of our takeaway service, we looked to revamping the menu behind the scenes ahead of our relaunch. Now, we are so pleased to share with you our new menu and we can’t wait for you to visit us and enjoy it in the company of family and friends.
New & Improved Restaurant Menu
Our new and improved menu features some of your tried and tested favourites along with a few new dishes. This includes a range of tasty starters including halloumi fries, pork & nduja meatballs and char sui style pork belly to mouth watering mains such as our iconic vegan curry, grilled calves liver and the inimitable Lion Burger.
Not only that but we’ve also added both fish and meat grazing boards to the menu – ideal for date night and dining with friends. As well as our well-known stone baked pizzas freshly made to order in our dedicated pizza ovens!
If that wasn’t enough, we’ve also got a dedicated Kid’s Menu for the little people in your life which features all of their favourites, alongside a variety of sumptuous desserts. Our mouths are watering just writing about them!
Sunday Roasts in Belper
While we can’t yet bring back our carvery, we are serving up Sunday Roasts at The Lion Hotel from Sunday 5th July. Our delicious Sunday dinners are available with your choice of perfectly prepared meat or veggies alongside all the trimmings you could possibly want from a Sunday roast.
We don’t just cater to the carnivores here at The Lion Hotel. In all of our menus you will find a selection of vegan and vegetarian options available for you to enjoy. Many of our dishes are also vegan adaptable and gluten free adaptable to ensure they meet a range of dietary requirements.
