Following the Prime Minister’s announcement this week which detailed the UK roadmap out of lockdown, we are hopeful that life might be returning back to normal by summer. While none of us can really know what is going to happen in the near future, that won’t stop us from dreaming of all the things we’ll get up to when restrictions are lifted and we can once again see the people we love most in the world and start planning activities again!

The Lion Hotel is tucked away in the picturesque town of Belper, amongst the breathtaking surroundings of Derbyshire and the Peak District. While our surroundings are quiet and peaceful, the hotel is well-linked to a number of local attractions and things to do that are perfect for all guests, big or small!
As a family-run establishment, we are very proud of our local community and want to do everything we can to shout about our fabulous local area.
