Here at The Lion Hotel, we regularly mix up our Sunday menus, meaning that what you enjoy one Sunday, might be swapped out the next week, allowing you to try another succulent dish.

Here are just a few ideas of some of the succulent dishes we have to offer you:
For Starters, sink your teeth into a tasty fishcake complete with tomato, chilli and salsa. Or dip some bread into our homemade soup of the day.
For Mains, We regularly mix up the meats, ranging from succulent aged beef to the traditional turkey and even the occasional pheasant! But if you’re vegetarian or vegan, fear not, we always have an option available for you to get stuck into, our personal favourite is the nut roast, which offers so many flavour bursts.
For Dessert, we don’t want to hear that you are too full, we all know there is a separate pudding stomach! We regularly have the traditional apple pie on the menu or a classic Eton mess. We also throw in a range of sumptuous homemade desserts that will certainly have you drooling.
Staying The Night
It’s not just Sunday lunch that should be relaxing for you. You can choose to stay in one of our 22 ensuite luxury rooms for either the Saturday or Sunday nights (or maybe even both).
