Christmas Menus
Here at the Lion, we like to get our Christmas menus out to you as early as possible, making sure that you have enough time to sort your plans and get booked in. Whether you are looking at joining us on Christmas day itself, boxing day, new years eve, or even just a day throughout December to tuck into our Christmas fayre menu!

Christmas Day
Christmas Day should be a day for relaxation, seeing family and friends, opening presents and having a good time. So why not let the team here at the Lion take away all the stresses of the day and serve each course freshly to your table?
No one will be missing by spending time in the kitchen, there won’t be a pile of dishes at the end of the day (unless of course, you want to help the team, they won’t mind), and you the whole day can be spent the way you want it to be.
Of course, there is even a vegan Christmas day menu this year to help ensure that the whole family can be included.
Boxing Day
After the hustle and bustle of Christmas day, visiting your loved ones, and if you haven’t joined us, clearing away the remnants of Christmas dinner. If it all seems a bit too much, and you want to have a break, why not get yourself booked in for boxing day? Don’t worry, there’s no turkey on this menu!
Christmas Fayre
From December 1st straight through to the 24th our Christmas fayre menu will be available. Not to mention Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights throughout December will be our Christmas Fayre Party nights!
So if you are looking for a quiet Christmas meal with family, friends or colleagues, get your table booked for Sunday to Wednesday nights. If you are looking for something with a little more pazazz and a lot more music get yourself booked in for one of our great party nights!
Christmas Bookings
As you can appreciate as one of the top restaurants in Belper, and one of the favourite restaurants in Derbyshire our key dates can get booked up early. This means that if you would like to secure your booking, we highly recommend contacting us as soon as possible to discuss your preferred date and time.
While changes can be made in the run-up to Christmas, we might be limited on space and availability.
