A Stylish Yet Functional Meeting Venue

Our Rooms

Here at The Lion hotel, we have three meeting and conference rooms available depending on the size of your function, or just how much space you would like to have to spread out.
The Vaults is our smallest function room seating up to 21 guests. This makes for the perfect small meeting or intimate conference. Fewer guests allow you to configure the room as you wish, including tables and chairs.
The Strutt Suite has a larger capacity of 40. This room allows you to have more movement for smaller meetings and conferences, or allow you to fit more people in where needed.
The Arkwright Suite is our largest space and can accommodate 120 guests. Ideal for larger conferences and functions.

Food

We know how important it is to make your guests and colleagues comfortable. And this typically includes food. While many conference suites will include tea and coffee and perhaps some biscuits, we have a selection of options available to you.
We offer a selection of buffet options for parties of 30 and above with a selection of savoury and sweet treats.
If you are looking for a little something more luxurious, for groups of 16 and above we have a menu for three-course meal options to truly treat your guests.

Added Extras

There are a few little extras that help to make your meeting go as smoothly as possible. From flipcharts and pens to note pads for your guests. Projectors are available to display your presentation to the room with ease. Not to mention bottled water to make guests comfortable. If you require any further extras, please contact the team and we will endeavour to accommodate.

Staying With Us

We appreciate that some of your guests will be travelling a distance to your meeting or conference. Which means that they may want to stay the night somewhere closer to the venue. There is nowhere closer than right here in the hotel. Our ensuite rooms are ready to welcome your guests and offer them a comfortable night before a long day, or even a place to lay their head after a day of meetings.
