Bolsover Castle

This stunning World Heritage site boasts spectacular views across the Derbyshire countryside. Just a short drive away from Belper this incredible site offers you a window into the history of the area.

There’s a variety of things to see and do at the site, from the Terrace Range to the Wall Walk. you can wander around the grounds, taking a look at the way things once were, and how people used to live. Take a trip into the Cavalier Horsemanship to see the indoor riding school brought to life in one of the live displays (please note this is dependent upon the time of year you visit). You can get hands-on with the insides of the castle as they boast a no rope policy, meaning everything is free to touch and feel.
