Yes, we’re big fans of a Sunday roast here at The Lion Hotel in Belper. So, to help you get your fix with no fuss in the kitchen, we’re offering takeaway roasts for collection from our restaurant!

Alongside our new takeaway menu, we’ve expanded our current offering to include sumptuous Sunday roasts for just £12 each. Whether you’ve had your fill of cooking for the week or want to celebrate a special occasion, our delicious homemade dinners are available from 12pm until 9pm every Sunday.
As part of our takeaway Sunday roasts, we offer a range of meat (and vegetarian!) options. We work with local suppliers to procure the freshest and best produce, so our meat and vegetarian options change weekly. Whichever option you choose, they’ll be served up alongside crisp and fluffy roast potatoes, homemade Yorkshire pudding and a selection of vegetables!
How To Order Your Sunday Roast
To place an order for our Sunday roasts, simply give us a call on 01773 824033. Our team will take your order and payment by card over the phone and give you a time to arrive for collection. Then, all you need to do is nip over and see us at The Lion Hotel in Belper to pick up your order. It’s as simple as that.
We also take pre-orders for any items on our takeaway menu. So, if you like to plan ahead, please feel free to give us a call and get your order in early. We recommend doing this with our Sunday Roasts in particular. As you can imagine they have proved to be very popular and we would hate for you to miss out!
Takeaways From The Lion Hotel
Alongside our Sunday roast takeaways, we also have a standard takeaway menu which is available Wednesday to Friday (5pm til 9pm) and over the weekend from 12pm until 9pm.
This delicious menu is filled to the brim with customer favourites, including the iconic Lion Burger and our ever popular vegan curry. Our delicious stone baked pizzas are also available for takeaway (including a playful Peppa Pig pizza for the kids!) alongside a huge range of mouthwatering sides to complete your meal.
As well as this, every week we choose a special dish of the week to include on our menu. Made by our expert chefs, these delicious dishes use fresh seasonal ingredients and change every week to add extra variety to our menu. And if all of the above doesn’t fill you up, we also have a selection of sweet treats to round off your meal and a selection of bottled beers, wine and soft drinks to wash them down with!
